Seasonal Services

Christmas at Christ Church
Christmas Eve
4:00 p.m. A Service for Children and Families
This festive celebration of the Christmas story is geared to the youngest among us, and features leadership from our children and youth ministries. Carols, the Christmas story, our Children's choir, and the celebration of Holy Communion make this service memorable for young and older alike.
6:30 p.m. The Nativity of our Lord
This candlelight service features the soaring and beautiful sounds of the Christ Church choir, and the story of Christmas told through lessons and carols, our senior minister's Christmas sermon, and the celebration of Holy Communion. Few services throughout the year rival the beauty and joy of this celebration of Jesus' birth.
Christmas Day
10:00 a.m. Our celebration continues as we re-tell the Christmas story, sharing in different carols and different aspects of the story than we did the night before.
New Year's Eve Covenant Renewal Service
6:30 p.m. This traditional and most Methodist of liturgies helps us observe the end of one year and the beginning of another. We renew our covenant with God through word, song, and gathering at the Lord's table. This hour-long service is an appropriate way to begin your celebrations of the New Year.
New Year's Day
We will combine our 9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. services at 10:00 a.m. as we celebrate the beginning of the new year together.

Easter at Christ Church
7:00 a.m. Easter Dawn Service
We gather in the darkened sanctuary where on Friday we heard and experienced the passion of Jesus. In this service we pick up that narrative, which leads from the darkness of night and of those dramatic events, to light of day and of new life. This joyous celebration rings in the Good News of Easter, and is a fitting conclusion to the events of Holy Week.
9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. The Resurrection of our Lord
Glorious music, the proclamation of the Easter gospel, and the sharing of the Lord's Supper characterize a festival service worthy of Jesus' resurrection. These identical services feature our choirs and guest instrumentalists, and are among the most memorable worship experiences of our year.
